Above you can see some pictures of my California-Trip in August/September 2006. Our starting-point was San Francisco. We stayed for one week in Berkeley (San Francisco Bay Area) with our great host and friend Ted. San Francisco itself is an unbelievable city...I love this city. After staying the Labor Day weekend in Los Gatos (a small town near San Jose) with some friends we started our road trip. We saw a lot of interesting places along Highway no.1 and we also met interesting people on our way down do San Diego. Leaving the coast was a step into a completely different world...Mountains, desert, heat,...but it was fantastic - San Diego - Phoenix/Arizona - Flagstaff and finally the Grand Canyon. For me this was one of the most impressive moment when we say the canyon the first time - it was unbelievable. We had a two day stop here and after visiting Page/Utah we drove towards Las Vegas/Nevada. Another new world for us. D&G - no that's not Dolce and Gabbana it's called drink and gamble Las Vegas :-) and we did it. Drinking and gambling (maybe we drank too much - and as a result of our tour we just won 30 bucks - nevertheless it's better than losing money) Back to California - DEATH VALLEY...uuuhhh it was really hot. da rest kummt noch........see ya<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/36242548-116133209053352311?l=xiberger.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>tomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01048124536537985517noreply@blogger.com7
